About Bordalo II
Bordalo II, known as Artur Bordalo, is a Portuguese urban artist famous for large scale animal sculptures made from discarded waste such as plastic, metal and car parts. His work critiques overconsumption and environmental destruction by transforming trash into vivid wildlife installations. Many pieces appear in public spaces across Lisbon and other cities in Portugal and worldwide, resembling raccoons, foxes, birds and insects.
